OAKS DEFEAT RIVAL SANTA BARBARA

 

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Conejo Oaks (29-22, 12-11) took game two of the final series of the summer against league rivals, the Santa Barbara Foresters on Wednesday evening.

 

The Oaks took the lead in the top of the fourth inning. With the bases loaded, left fielder Kyle Jones hit a two run single to right field. Jones finished 2-4 with two RBI’s on the evening. An additional run in the top of the fifth sealed the victory for the Oaks.

 

The Oaks return to Sparky Anderson field Thursday, July 30th for the final home game of the summer to complete the league series against the Santa Barbara Foresters. First pitch is at 5:00pm.
