OAKS OPEN FINAL SERIES WITH LOSS

 

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Conejo Oaks dropped game one of the final three game league series to their rival, the Santa Barbara Foresters falling 5-3 on Tuesday evening.

 

The Oaks scored their first run of the game in the bottom of the fifth when a double to right center by center fielder Kyle Jones would bring home Brad Greve who walked during his at bat. Two more runs scored in the seventh inning just weren’t enough for the Oaks to answer back despite having eight hits.

 

The Oaks continue their final series of the summer against the Santa Barbara Foresters on Wednesday, July 29th at 5:00pm. This is the Oaks final home game of the summer so be sure to come support the home town team!
