Errors Plague Oaks in Loss to Black Sox

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- The Conejo Oaks (24-19, 8-10) couldn't match the effort by the Southern California Black Sox when they were defeated, 6-1 Tuesday evening at Sparky Anderson Field.

The Oaks posted five hits but were unable to produce more than a single run during the game. They left seven runners stranded. Defensively the Oaks were off, giving up four errors in the first six innings of the game.

The Oaks continue non-league play as they travel to Los Angeles Southwest College to take on the Chicago White Sox scout team, the LA Rhinos. First pitch is at 5pm and directions to the field can be found at www.larhinos.org.

The next home game for the Oaks is Thursday, July 23rd when they play the CLU Hogs at 5pm.
