Oaks Defeat Cal Lutheran Hogs

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- The Conejo Oaks (24-18, 8-10) were productive with their hits as they defeated the Cal Lutheran Hogs, 9-1 on Sunday afternoon.

David Casey, who played as the designated hitter, came through strong again for the Oaks going 3-5 with three RBI. Casey's night included a lead-off solo home run over the right field fence to start the second inning. Left fielder Jacob Fiss also had a notable performance, going 4-5 with one RBI and one run scored.

The Oaks next game is against non-league opponent, the SoCal Black Sox on Tuesday at Sparky Anderson Field. First pitch is 5:00pm.
