OAKS WIN STREAK CONTINUES

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Conejo Oaks traveled to Dedeaux Field on the campus of USC to take on non-league rivals the SoCal Black Sox.

Leading by only one run after five complete innings, the Oaks came alive in the top of the sixth to take a substantial lead over the Black Sox. Right fielder Kyle Jones hit a double to deep left field to score Tyler Smith. Second baseman Bryan Willson followed in suit with a 2 RBI double. Catcher Matt Scioscia singled to right for another run scored. One more run was scored when left fielder Jacob Fiss singled to left center. Jones would finish the night with an impressive 3-6 with four RBI and three runs scored.

The Oaks finished the game scoring 11 runs on 17 hits against the Black Sox.

The Oaks travel to the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday, June 28^th to take on the South Bay Saints in a double header starting at 12:00pm with game two to follow at 3:00pm. The next home game is Wednesday, July 1^st as the Oaks have their first match up of the summer with CCL rivals the Santa Barbara Foresters.
