WIN STREAK CONTINUES FOR THE OAKS
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- The Conejo Oaks are back on the winning side of things with
their third consecutive win their 10-5 victory over the visiting East LA
Dodgers improves the team to 10-8 on the season, the Oaks are still 6-6 in
California Collegiate League play.
It was another night of many hits as
the Oaks scored their ten runs on 13 hits. Starting catcher Matt Scioscia went 3-4 with two singles and a double. Scioscia earned two RBI's in the evening, bringing his
total to twenty on the season, remaining the team leader for RBI's.
Oaks pitching staff only gave three
earned runs, struck out five, and walked six. Winning pitcher Ian Durham
improved to 2-3 on the season with his 2.1 innings of middle relief work.
The Oaks
look to continue their winning streak as they travel to USC to take on the
Southern California Black Sox in non-league play. The next home game is
Wednesday, July 1st at Sparky Anderson Field. First pitch is at 5:00pm. All
fans will get to play Baseball Bingo in the stands throughout the game as the
Oaks take on CCL rival the Santa Barbara Foresters.
